| Like the earlier version of this model, the later verstion of the Type F was a commutator-type meter. However, the motor was radically different. The current coil was split into 4 sections, all connected in series. These were arranged so that there was a horizontal gap between the upper and lower pairs of the current coil sections. The armature was made up of three flat coils positioned on a three-pronged disk of mica and which rotated through the gap in the current coil sections. No picture of this meter yet. |
